A majority of the people in the Death Penalty Study disagreed with the 3 vicarious sadism opinions. The majority agreed with 2 of the 3 disdain opinions. The only opinion that failed to achieve majority support was the statement, I prefer that executions be 'out of sight/out of mind.'
